Psalm 25:1-10

Thank God we can tell him what is affecting our hearts: ‘To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul. O my God, in you I trust’ (verse 1).

Pray for personal deliverance and for the deliverance of other believers: ‘let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me. Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame; they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous’ (verses 2-3).

Ask God to teach us his will from the Bible: ‘Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths’ (verse 4).

Tell the Lord that you depend upon him: ‘Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long’ (verse 5),

Ask God to continue his covenant love to you: ‘Remember your mercy, O LORD, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old’ (verse 6).

Bring to God any sins that bother you and ask him for pardon: ‘Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O LORD!’ (verse 7).

Ask the Lord to teach us to live with a humble attitude and in humble ways: ‘Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way’ (verses 8-9).

Thank God for his consistency: ‘All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies’ (verse 10).
