New Book To Help Building Fund

A newly released book entitled 'One Good Owner' shares the journey of Stirling Free Church member Murdo Murchison from a youngster in the highlands to his successful career in the second-hand car trade through to the devastating diagnosis of terminal cancer. In the book, Murdo shares how his personal Christian faith has sustained and supported his family throughout his life, especially through the dark times. Free Church Mission Director David Meredith said that Murdo "has been consistent in sickness and in health. His motivation to speak about the gospel was not in the slightest way affected by his prognosis, he was always a man who 'preached as never sure to preach again, and as a dying man to dying men'. The hero of this book is not the wee boy, raised in Kyle of Lochalsh, it's not the highly successful car salesman and it's not even the man who is not wasting his cancer. The dominant figure is Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever." Proceeds of the book will go towards the Stirling Free Church building fund and can be bought through the Free Church Book Shop for £6.99.
