Reformation Commemorations

Badenoch Free Church of Scotland is organising four lectures for September commemorating 500 years since the Reformation. The lecture series entitled "The Spiritual Revolution of the Reformation", will be given by Rev. Clive Every-Clayton author of “Martin Luther – His Cheminement, His Conversion, His Convictions”. The lectures will begin at 7 pm with refreshments at 7:45 pm, followed by an exchange of views and discussion for those who wish to stay, until 8:45 pm. Lecture Titles: Sept 3rd: How Martin Luther struggled for salvation - Can a sinful man be righteous before God? Sept 10th: How could Luther be so sure? - Where does religious authority come from? Sept 17th: Issues brought to light by the reformers - What Protestants don’t share with Roman Catholics Sept 24th: The relevance of the Reformation today in a day of ecumenical rapprochement Entrance is free and all are welcome.
